These terms cover the CUTZ iOS app and the cutz website ("the app"). By using the app you agree to them.

What the app does

CUTZ turns a song you provide into a music video: you record selfie clips, the app cuts them to the beat, and it exports an MP4 on your device. All processing happens on your device; the app has no accounts.

Your content

You keep every right to the songs you import and the videos you make. You confirm you have the rights to any music you import and to the recordings you make. Exported videos are yours to share. Don't use CUTZ to make or share anything illegal, harassing, or that infringes someone else's rights.

Subscriptions

PRO is an optional auto-renewing subscription ($1.00/week or $7.50/month, or as displayed at checkout) that removes the watermark, unlocks pro colour looks and the flame watermark, and raises the video-length cap.

iOS: PRO is purchased through your Apple ID via App Store in-app purchase and renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/…/stdeula) also applies to app use, and refunds are handled by Apple.

Web: PRO is billed through Stripe. Cancel anytime in the app's subscription page; access lasts until the end of the paid period.

Subscriptions are per person; a payment doesn't transfer between the app and the web unless you restore it with the same checkout email (web) or Apple ID (iOS).

Availability

The app is provided as is. Features that need the internet (filter model downloads, payment processing) depend on services outside our control, and the export format depends on your device's encoders.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for lost data (always keep backups of drafts you care about — use Backup drafts), lost profits, or indirect damages from using the app. Some places don't allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes

These terms may change; the current version is always at this URL. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date. If you keep using the app after a change, the new terms apply.
